Merry Christ-I mean, Tankmas, everybody! This was a lovely Advent, thank you to everyone who participated and played!

This is honestly the most wholesome flash game I think I've ever seen on this site. It works really well at getting you into that Christmas feeling, with that cozy music and the snow slowly falling down, next to that giant, undecorated (as I'm typing this) tree.
The gradual adding of classic Newgrounds characters is also really, really appreciated. I don't speak for everyone on this site, obviously, but it's always nice to see Pico, Captain, the Madness grunt, and that goddamn clock inside of a strawberry. I really like the detail of the snow sculptures representing Behemoth, it's really sweet. Additionally, I think it's awesome that a bunch of artists got together to help make this happen. Newgrounds has always had a pretty great community, and there's no better time to show that than the holiday season. All the art pieces are great, I think my favorite one so far is SuperPhil's festive picture of Salad Fingers and his merry gang.
Only caveat I have is a minor one that'd probably be difficult to add in; it'd be really cool if you could interact with the characters in some way. Even just tiny things, like having a chat bubble showing what they want for Christmas, or what they got when Christmas rolls around. It's not a severe flaw by any means, just a "mite b cool" type of thing.
I'm gonna keep checking this out for the next 19 days, it's really endearing. Hope everyone has a merry Christmas when the time comes!

Update for 12/25/18: It's here! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thank you for this review it is very good.

And on that interaction with the characters bit, it wouldnt be ridiculously hard to implement, but it's more about finding something really cool to do with it. We don't want the interactions to take away from the focus of the collab, which is for people to come back daily to look at ART, but we also want something meaningful that would add to the feeling and spirit of the collab. However that chat bubble with what they want could be something.

I'm not crying, YOU'RE CRYING.
Really, though, this is the best tribute somebody ever could do for Newgrounds.
You could've left out the Swain, Xiao, or Foamy, but you guys didn't; many people wouldn't have recognized them or taken notice (Foamy's more like a cult hit than a very well known Newgrounds animation). But I appreciated everything here. This was a collab made of dreams, man.
The movie portion summed up all the years of newgrounds almost to a T, and somehow, all the art and animation shifts completely fit in with the time; it's weird to know that Newgrounds has been here for almost three decades, huh? And we've come to love all of these mascots and characters. Lots of us grew up with them, and some of them made life better for the less fortunate folk that visited this website-Even if it sounds a bit melodramatic. This website's been through slow year after slow year, copyright strike after copyright strike- and it's still here after 20 years.
Thank you, all of you. Hope to see you on the 50th anniversary in the retirement home.

It's so bizarre, playing this four years after Rebirth came out.
And yet, it still holds up.
The game as the same as it's always been; macabre, fun, and somewhat sad, when you think of Isaac's situation.
Great job, Edmund.

You've got a lot on your plate for Pixel Day, because this is spectacular.
Looks and plays amazingly.
Fairly difficult even on Easy mode (ya can't sleepwalk through it), dashing is a fair and useful mechanic, and Pico's personality was carried over satisfyingly and accurately; The banter between him and the other characters was entertaining.
I hope to see more of this magnificent stuff from all the people working on it. Good luck on the development of Zero Hour!

Okay, time for the actual review.
I love the visual novel Katawa Shoujo, and I love Castlevania, so this was a nice treat to find on Newgrounds.
A very nice treat.
As a game, it's a delicious kind of difficult, and the humor is just fine. Nothing superb or spectacular or Oscar-worthy, but it's not awful enough to warrant a low score.
Good job on this, man.

Nice to have ya.
