[FrogMan and Pico]

This is my absolute favorite Pico Day animation, without a doubt. Out of almost hundreds of animations from the past nine years of Pico Day (time really does fly when you have fun). It's so hopeful and dreaming, but it reminds everyone what the website needs to improve on.
It doesn't just convey the message that Golden Age Newgrounds was better, which I already agree with.
It conveys the message "Yeah, the Golden Age of Newgrounds was stellar and full of fantastic stuff. But that doesn't mean you should undermine the new guys. Give them a chance. Let them grow and develop. We might just have our next golden age with these folks."
About that bit with the parodies, I completely agree. They're the easiest, most shameless way to get views on here and it doesn't encourage original content. Half the time they're recycled jokes we've heard the past 50 times from an Egoraptor animation and everyone thought it'd be best to recycle them instead of making new jokes, so I completely agree with everyone else here.
But, to be perfectly honest, I don't think everything started crashing down in 2013. It started in 2012.
Think about it; Edd Gould's death left everyone on the site feeling pretty crappy, the KONY 2012 shit, and the memes. The horrible, horrible memes. It was a bad year for the internet in general, and that included Newgrounds. Things have gotten better in 2015, but we've got a bit to go before it gets REALLY good. And as I'm editing this years later to be more coherent (2018 here, hi!), it looks like it did get good.
All that aside, this is an excellent tribute to Pico, and Newgrounds as a whole. You've heard this loads of times, but I find it even better that you got Tom Fulp to voice in this.
And yes, I want Frogman to tap feet with the finest characters of Newgrounds.

Thank you for the great review, and I'm glad you were able to see and agree with the message. I really did put a lot of time and thought into this and I'm glad it shows and people can appreciate it. The fact that you would consider this your absolute favorite Pico Day animation really means a lot to me. And yeah, hopefully one day FrogMan will be among the Newgrounds greats ;3

And yeah, the stuff definitely started before 2013. 2012 does seem like a meme-filled year now that i think about it, heh.

I agree with everything you've had to say and I'm still amazed that this is still getting reviews. And yeah, I just HAD to get Tom Fulp to have a cameo in this. It wouldn't be my ultimate tribute to Newgrounds without it ;3

Stellar. Absolutely stellar.
You take as long as you need on Part 2.
I'd love to see more quality animation and comedy like this. Great job to the voice actor, and the animator!
